Meet Cath and Lauren. Best friends, project managers and former Chiefs of Staff. Now both qualified celebrants, we are taking our love of coordination and passion for weddings to the next level.
As besties, we were both heavily involved in each others wedding days. For Cath’s wedding to her hubby Andrew in 2018, Lauren was the maid of honour and she did not disappoint. Lauren was by Cath’s side all day and night, fixing little issues, making sure the right photos were taken, making sure Cath ate and had a drink in her hand, and even helped out when a wedding guest spilt red wine all over Cath’s wedding dress straight after the ceremony!
Fast forward to 2023 when Lauren got married to her personal firefighter and love of her life, Warwick, Cath was the celebrant, having become authorised just in time of officiate the wedding. Lauren had planned the most perfect day, however this day did have a run sheet four pages long! Cath found herself directing vendors all day and night to support Lauren so she didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Even though we were so lucky and privileged to have our best friend by our side, running around making everything perfect on our wedding days, what this meant was that we were too busy to enjoy each others day. Your best friend, your family and your invited guests are just that - invited to enjoy your wedding day and celebrate love and the most important moment of your life. They shouldn’t miss out on one single moment.
Our service
Ceremony & Co is a complete service. On your wedding day you get the two of us - we are both authorised celebrants, we are both incredible and passionate MC’s and best of all, we are qualified (yes we are both qualified project managers!) in coordination. We take your run sheet and make it a thing of beauty. Vendors contract us only - neither the bridal party or your guests have a single role on your wedding day. We take care of the lot. We are first in and last out. We take your vision and your perfectly crafted day and execute it flawlessly, from ceremony until the last song is played and your last guest has left.
Ceremony and Co Package Inclusions
This package includes:
Initial meeting (in person or video) to discuss your needs followed by three meetings (coffee in the mornings, wine in the evenings, or zoom!) to sign the legal paperwork, plan the ceremony, reception, MC script and run sheet.
Preparation of all necessary legal documents for your wedding, post ceremony paperwork filing and ordering of marriage certificate.
The design of your perfect ceremony. We learn enough about your lives and your love story to share with your guests the reason why you are standing before them.
Use of professional PA system and microphone for ceremony and MC duties.
All vendor management for the entire day including a customised run sheet for all vendors up to two weeks prior to your wedding day and personalised couple run sheet
The management of all unexpected events (they do happen!)
Guess and VIP Liaison
Assistance with photos and last minute styling
Bride and Groom sidekick – always ensuring the dress is perfect, you get to eat something and always have a drink in your hands
